Of course such indications are only useful if a peep knows where the Keister of Gawd actually is. A device known as a Keister compass is extremely useful in this regard. Such a contraption, cobbled of weirdness, hocus pokery, and similar arts is attuned in such a manner that its doohickey always points directly at the Keister, or, more precisely, directly at a certain rock in the basement of the Garden of Smellemental Glee, which overlooks the Keister. Keister compasses are pretty clammy, when they can even be found, but extremely useful. If you have the mean, I highly recommend picking one up.
